This stoneware bowl features a colorful design achieved through a pottery glazing method known as the "peacock technique"
 
The rim inside and exterior is a pale green with red and blue glazed and outlined with flux.  Flux allows the glazes to run vertically and also swirl at the bottom of the bowl.  The outside and the inside of the bowl reflect drips of white flux vertically accenting the piece.   Truly a statement piece and one of a kind.
 
The bottom of the bowl has a sea turtle, crabs, shellfish and seaweed.  This is a one of a kind piece.
